This historic site served as a venue for the Battle of Barrosa in the Iberian Wars on May 5, 1811.La Barrosa beach in this online broadcast is divided into two parts: Paseo Maritimo – a well-maintained urban beach with a footpath along the coastline, bars, restaurants and parking lots and another zone that extends to the narrowest point of the coast of Chiclana – Tore del Puerco. This part of the beach is considered as a natural reserve with beautiful sand dunes and large pine trees.
