This camera displays a variety of coral predators. Although you would think fish and other animals that eat and attack coral would be harmful, it can actually be quite beneficial to the health of the reef and the individual corals. Parrotfish dive headfirst into the reef to eat algae extracted from the chunks of coral they scrape away. They eat dead coral with their special grinding teeth, too.
