Algaida is a small inland town located in the central part of Mallorca. It is well connected with the capital Palma de Mallorca and only 18 km from the west coast of the island. The landscapes that surround the town are made up of cultivated fields with their beautiful windmills, in fact agriculture has been the main activity of Algaida for centuries. Currently Algaida continues to preserve the character of yesteryear. We highlight the Puig de Randa, a small mountain just 4 km from the town where three religious spaces are located; the Sanctuary of Grace, the Hermitage Sant Honorat and the Sanctuary of Cura. The local Algaida market is held every Friday and its main festivals are those of Sant Jaume that take place during the second half of July
