Shihmen Dam

The moving live cam presents you Shihmen Dam, a large-scale rock fill dam on the Dahan River, in Taoyuan City, in northern Taiwan. The dam forms Shihmen Reservoir, which is crucial for the flood control, irrigation, domestic water supply and hydroelectricity for the highly populated urban areas of northern Taiwan. At the same time, the reservoir among the mountains is a sunning spot to visit and connected to many tourist sites around Taoyuan special municipality.
