St. Peter’s Square

Live streaming views of St. Peter’s Square (Piazza San Pietro), in the Vatican City, geographically located within the city limits of Rome. This is a large square in front of St. Peter’s Basilica, also called the Vatican Basilica. Right in the centre of this plaza rises an Egyptian obelisk. Every Sunday, at noon, from a window of the Vatican Palace (on the right-hand side of the live image), the Pope gives his blessing (Angelus) and greets the crowds in Saint Peter’s Square in various languages.
