This live webcam stream shows a wonderful view of Ijzerenleen Square in the heart of Mechelen, located in the Antwerp region of Belgium.
The view is captured from the historic Schepenhuis, also known as the Aldermen’s House. This remarkable early medieval stone building is considered the oldest stone structure in Flanders. Built in the 13th century, it originally served as the town hall and municipal court. Today, it houses a city museum and the tourist information office.
Schepenhuis stands at a central location on Schoenmarkt, between Ijzerenleen Square and Grote Markt, with easy access to major streets such as Bruul, the city’s busiest shopping area.
Watch daily life unfold live in one of Belgium’s most charming and historically rich city centres.
