Paseo de la Reforma

Live view of Paseo de la Reforma, a large avenue in the centre of Mexico City, inspired in the great European boulevards, as in Paris and Vienna. In the centre of the roundabout is the Angel of Independence (officially known as Monumento a la Independencia, and often called El Ángel), one of the city’s main landmarks — there is a golden statue on the top of a high column and several other statues on its base symbolising the heroes of the Mexican War of Independence, some of whom are actually buried there.
