Florence Cathedral (Duomo di Firenze) is an iconic church in Italy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and naturally, one of the top attractions in Italy. The cathedral architectural features, especially its Renaissance dome – once the largest in the world – was an inspiration to artists across Europe in the Early Renaissance Art – in the 15th century – and still amazes us!
